Five years ago came the Werenight, when all four moons were full and men turned into beasts. Ever since then, the northlands remain a patchwork of feuding statelets. As Gerin and his liegemen fight to keep some semblance of civilization in the northlands, the forces of Chaos conspire to tumble their world into a very dark age indeed.
